The central purpose of Halo’s Wish funds is to support wishes and meaningful family experiences for approved recipients.

Your generosity helps create time for families to simply be together.
Halo’s Wish exists to grant meaningful wishes and family experiences for children and families facing serious medical and life challenges. Donations are directed primarily toward that mission.
Our priority is simple: use the support entrusted to us to make wishes possible while operating the organization responsibly and transparently.
HOW FUNDS MAY BE USED
Supporting the mission takes more than one kind of expense.
Our governing rules are designed to keep Halo’s Wish funds focused on charitable purposes while allowing the organization to raise funds, hold events and maintain the visibility needed to continue serving families.

Fundraising & Events
With Voting Body approval and in accordance with treasury guidelines, funds may support Family Fall Fest or another function when the expense directly supports fundraising or the organization’s mission.

Promotional Materials
Funds may also be used for Halo’s Wish promotional materials that help build awareness, support fundraising and maintain the organization’s identity.

We are currently selecting the donation platform that will provide a secure, straightforward way to support Halo’s Wish online.

Our bylaws place clear limits around compensation and the use of organizational funds.
What our bylaws establish
- The Board and Voting Body receive no salary.
- Funds may be used to assist with Family Fall Fest or another function only with Voting Body approval.
- Those approvals must follow the organization’s Use of Treasury guidelines and directly support fundraising or organizational identity.
- Organizational funds are not to be used for the financial benefit of any one individual.
- Funds may be used for Halo’s Wish promotional materials.
