Halo’s Wish is powered by people who choose to help — board members, campers, craftspeople, businesses, sponsors, donors and friends. Whether you give time, an item, a service or financial support, you become part of Helping Families Be Families Again.
WAYS TO GET INVOLVED
Some people join the organization. Others donate a handmade item, sponsor breakfast, print a banner or simply make a financial gift. Each kind of support helps us create the experiences and fundraising that make Halo’s Wishes possible.
Board service is an unpaid volunteer position. The time commitment is generally manageable, but we do ask members to take ownership of a role, function or area of responsibility and follow through on that commitment.
The compensation package is admittedly unusual: a heartfelt thank-you, the satisfaction of doing something worthwhile, and the chance to see families smile, cry and celebrate with joy.
Each year at Family Fall Fest we hold our Mega-Raffle. Craftspeople donate special handmade pieces, businesses and vendors contribute new products, memberships and services, and supporters provide items that make the raffle fun.
If you make it, sell it, provide it or simply think people would love to win it, we would be glad to talk.
Sometimes what we need is not cash — it is a skill or service. Printing, apparel, banners, event materials, entertainment, professional services and other business capabilities can directly reduce our fundraising costs.
Run a business that could make our board some T-shirts, print a sign or banner, provide equipment or help us solve a problem? That support can have real value.
Sponsorships help underwrite the things that bring our community together — entertainment, breakfast, event activities and other Family Fall Fest expenses.
A sponsor can support a specific part of an event or make a broader contribution to Halo’s Wish. We are happy to work with businesses and individuals to find a meaningful fit.
Financial contributions support our wishes, events and ongoing work. Donations can be made online or in person, and every gift helps us continue serving families.
BOARD SERVICE
Halo’s Wish is a volunteer organization. Serving on the Board of Directors means helping guide the organization while also taking responsibility for a function that keeps it moving.

Host Resort & Longtime Partner
Normandy Farms has welcomed our Family Fall Fest community for years and provides far more than a location. Their resort, activities, amenities and hospitality help create the family-centered weekend that has become a Halo’s Wish tradition.
