A Weekend of Camping, Community & Giving Back

Family Fall Fest brought the Halo's Wish community together at Normandy Farms for a weekend built around a simple purpose: helping families step away from life's challenges and spend meaningful time together.

Family Fall Fest attendees gathering for breakfast at Normandy Farms

Family Fall Fest brought campers, volunteers, supporters and friends together for a community breakfast at Normandy Farms.

For one September weekend, campers, volunteers, donors, local businesses and friends of Halo's Wish came together to have some fun — and to help make future family wishes possible.

The 2026 Family Fall Fest included an ice cream social, raffles, entertainment and a community breakfast provided by New England RV Roof. More importantly, it gave supporters a chance to gather around the mission that has guided Halo's Wish for more than a decade: Helping Families Be Families Again.

CONTENT TO CONFIRM: This opening is intentionally broad. Consider adding the exact event dates, approximate number of campsites/families participating, weather or a memorable moment that gives the story some personality.
THE WEEKEND BY THE NUMBERS

What the Community Made Possible

Fundraising totals are more than numbers on a page. Every dollar helps Halo's Wish prepare for the next opportunity to give a family time together that is focused on each other rather than the challenges they face.

TBDEstimated total raised
$1,745Raffle proceeds
$40Additional direct donation
$41550/50 winner — and one winner went home with $415!
CONTENT TO CONFIRM: Replace estimates with final bookkeeping numbers. Decide whether the 50/50 amount belongs here, and add a people/campsite/raffle-ticket number if one is available. Three strong numbers are better than four weak ones.
AROUND FALL FEST

A Community That Shows Up

The weekend was designed to be simple: spend time together, enjoy the campground, meet some new people and support a cause that matters. From the ice cream social and raffle tables to entertainment and breakfast, each piece of the weekend was possible because people volunteered their time, donated items and chose to participate.

THE REASON WE GATHER

The Family Behind the Wish

We are disappointed to share that we did not have a child to support through a Halo's Wish at this year's Family Fall Fest. The families we contacted were either recent recipients of Make-A-Wish grants or were not in a position to accept an award at this time.

Our search does not stop here. We will continue working to identify a new candidate for a Halo's Wish and will update this section when a child and family are selected.

Our mission remains the same: Helping Families Be Families Again.

THANK YOU

It Takes a Community

Halo's Wish is powered by people who decide to help — sometimes with a donation, sometimes with a raffle prize, sometimes by serving breakfast, volunteering for an hour or simply showing up and supporting the event.

Our Volunteers & Supporters

Thank you to the volunteers, board members, campers, donors and friends who helped organize the weekend, donated raffle items, purchased tickets and supported Halo's Wish throughout Fall Fest.

Community Partners

A special thank you to Normandy Farms Family Camping Resort, our multi-year host of Family Fall Fest, for welcoming Halo's Wish and our community year after year. We also thank multi-year sponsor New England RV Roof for providing breakfast and supporting the weekend, along with individuals who contributed raffle items, services and other support.

WHAT COMES NEXT

Help Create the Next Family Memory

Fall Fest ends after a weekend. The mission does not. The money raised and relationships built help Halo's Wish continue preparing for the next family we can serve.

Helping Families Be Families Again.
